'PROVEN' - 'DETERMINED'; these two words define the characteristics of this new 65' Aluminum Express Cruiser just launched at Philbrook's Boatyard in Sidney British Columbia Canada. The owners are an experienced yachting couple that turned to Gregory C. Marshall - Naval Architect Ltd to design this new motor yacht to replace their existing 55' Hoek designed sailboat. The hull lines are based on the Canadian Fisheries Patrol 'Post Class' hull series, originally designed by William Garden and built by Philbrooks. This class has been successfully plying the waters off the West Coast of British Columbia for the last 30 years. Marshall redrew the lines to suit the 'Chinook Post' parameters. The hull shape has a fine entry, deep vee sections and straight buttocks aft producing an easily driven, seaworthy hull.
